It was the last day of convention, Sunday, and the weather was bright and sunny.  The Word, as usual was in power and God was being highly exalted. After service was over, everyone headed to the parking lot which was filled with tents and well set tables.  Lunch was buffet style and as trained soldiers, we orderly lined up to take our serving.  Suddenly, out of nowhere, a dark, ominous cloud hovered over.  Just as my husband was making note of its presence to me, an awfully strong breeze blew in and lifted all the tents and into the air they went like kites caught up in a mighty wind.

These tents were bolted down strong with heavy concrete weights onto the metal poles, yet, like paper, everything was flying about.  There were children (including my son) already seated under a shed nearby enjoying their meals.  Some tents landed on its roof and a particular section of the shed was totally written-off.  Some (tents) were entangled in the power lines overhead. [I'm sorry I didn't get that ] Unfortunately, some of us were injured.

We were hurriedly ushered away from the scene and we retreated to the church.  There was concern on everyone’s face.  Some of us were separated from our little ones and had to retrieve them from other saints who had them in their protection.  Everything looked dim. The brothers, without hesitation, cleared the entire area making it safe.

Then, one by one, and in small groups, we began heading back to the same spot of ground where horror previously struck.  Musicians began bringing up their instruments and in unison, everyone began praising and worshiping the Lord God.  This was not planned.  We had forgotten all about eating. We just wanted to lift up the name of the Lord and didn’t want to stop.

We later returned to the house of God and there testimonies were given by different ones and we magnified the Lord again.

Satan made his move but it was CHECKMATE for him.

What a great testimony. Truely his banner over us is love. May the God of heaven be praised.

I tried to put it all in a nutshell because there were so many things to detail and as I said before there were other testimonies coming out of that whole experience. I know Hebron was very shaken up by it but it was just great to see him giving God the praise as well.
